State lawmakers are expected to vote this week on a bill that would benefit the state’s natural gas industry by providing an incentive for manufacturers that use the gas.

Republican state lawmakers are defending the natural gas industry following the release of a Pennsylvania grand jury report that found state regulators failed to protect public health during the fracking boom.
