The Biden Administration is working on a plan to get kids back in school classrooms but Allentown School District officials have said they won’t be ready for in-person learning until mid-April.
The Board of Directors released a statement saying the district is working to develop a hybrid instructional model that will combine in-person and remote learning.
Lehigh County recently gave two million dollars to the Allentown School District. The grant is aimed at improving safety concerns in the district so students can eventually return to in-person learning.
