Allegheny County

Pennsylvania reported Thursday its highest one-day total of confirmed coronavirus cases since May. And as WESA’s Sarah Boden reports, Allegheny County – a current hotspot – saw more than 200 new cases, a new all-time high for daily totals in the Pittsburgh region.
Beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, customers will no longer be allowed to drink alcohol inside Allegheny County bars and restaurants – imposed in response to a rise in coronavirus cases in the county.
