A family-friendly event that normally draws in thousands to the SteelStacks campus on the final day of the year will look a lot different on New Year’s Eve 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns.
Patrick Brogan, chief programming officer for ArtsQuest, says families will be able to experience the heart of PeepsFest at home.
“While we’re all disappointed that we can’t gather thousands of people to watch the chick drop on New Year’s Eve and celebrate. We are still thrilled to offer experiences in people’s homes through our virtual program,” Brogan says.
Families don’t have to worry about missing the giant Peep drop or fireworks display since it will be live-streamed at 5 p.m. Dec.31 and then will remain online on the ArtsQuest website.
