The Pennsylvania Department of Health today reported more than 10,000 additional cases of COVID-19 yesterday – including 533 cases for Lehigh and Northampton Counties combined.

Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine continues to stress that consistent mask-wearing is critical to preventing the spread of the pandemic, which yesterday claimed 169 more lives, for a statewide total over 11,000.

“So really it’s everywhere. So anytime you are outside your home – there is a potential to contract COVID-19, which is why we issued a COVID-19 advisory approximately two weeks ago.”

The Department of Health mandates wearing masks in all businesses and whenever leaving home.
