President Donald Trump filed a federal lawsuit late Monday to block results certification in Pennsylvania, as the state’s vote count wore on – and former Vice President Joe Biden’s lead continued to grow.

Listen to the story.

The president claims he was at a disadvantage because Democrats got a chance to fix problems with mailed ballots so they weren’t disqualified – and Republicans did not.

The 105-page complaint names Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar and election boards in Allegheny, Centre, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia counties.

State Attorney General Josh Shapiro tweeted Monday night that his office was prepared for Trump’s campaign to wage this latest challenge, calling it an attempt to throw out legal votes.

The complaint also claims Philly and Allegheny counties blocked Trump campaign watchers from observing processing of more than 600,000 ballots.
