Fighting pandemic fatigue

By Brittany Sweeney

July 31, 2020

The coronavirus forced many people across the U.S. to move to remote work.

WLVR’S Brittany Sweeney gets some advice on how to deal with pandemic repercussions.

Breinigsville psycho-therapist Shonda Moralis says being at home divided between a job and family life during this pandemic can weigh on a person’s workflow.

“We’re really missing that structured time or that uninterrupted time to get deep work completed or to be able to focus,” said Moralis.

Now that some businesses and schools are opening back up – she explains people are also feeling what she calls ‘decision fatigue.’

She advises everyone to set a time each day to think about what is worrying them.

“Any other time throughout the day when our worries show up those what ifs or those concerns? We say? Nope, it’s not my worry time right now.”

During this uncertain time, she reiterates the importance of not being so hard on yourself when it comes to work-life balance.
