A short video posted to Twitter on Saturday in which an Allentown police officer kneels on the head and neck of what appears to be a Black or Hispanic man outside St. Luke’s Hospital in the city has gone viral and sparked a protest over the weekend in the city.

WLVR’s Brad Klein spoke with Kayla Dwyer, a reporter for the Morning Call, who was there.

The city of Allentown has announced that the case will be reviewed by the District Attorney as well as an internal investigation by the Police Department. Black Lives Matter of the Lehigh Valley is calling for a protest in Allentown later today. Find Kayla Dwyer’s report on the Allentown protest here.
