Pennsylvania officials weigh impact of COVID-19 on state’s Latino communities

Nationwide, there are reports that COVID-19 is disproportionately affecting Black and Hispanic populations. Here in Pennsylvania, one area of concern is the state’s Latino population – which includes at least 834,000 residents.
WLVR Community Correspondent Genesis Ortega spoke with Norman Bristol-Colon, head of the state Department of Community and Economic Development and the Governor’s Census 2020 Commission. She asked if the state knows what percentage of cases are Latino. His response — we still don’t know.
