The coronavirus continues to impact more people across the United state. Here in Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley Public Media reporters are working across our communities to bring our listeners and viewers the latest information and resources.

WLVR and PBS39 health reporter Brittany Sweeney lives and works in Montgomery County – currently, the area hit hardest in the outbreak — with 30 confirmed cases.

Montgomery County was the first place shut down by the state to limit the spread of the virus.

WLVR’s Tyler Pratt recently sat down with Sweeney, to talk about what it’s like covering the story of a global pandemic in her hometown.

Today’s guests on Community Update on Coronavirus will include Dr. Ashleigh Anderson, vice president and medical director of KidsPeace’s residential and community-based treatment programs. Watch the episode at WLVR.org/community.

WLVR will air Community Update on Coronavirus weekdays at 3 PM. You can either watch live on the PBS39 tv channel or on our WLVR News Facebook Page.
